Asheville Commerce Park at Biltmore Lake
Asheville Commerce Park is the industrial component of the, master-planned Biltmore Lake. Located immediately adjacent to A-B Technical & Community College's western campus, this 165-acre park offers land for retail, commercial and light industrial uses. The location features easy access to the Asheville Regional Airport (within 9 miles) and major interstates 1-26 (2.3 miles) and 1-40 (1.7 miles). Financial incentives are available through the City of Asheville, Buncombe County, and the State of North Carolina.
County commissioners and Chamber Economic Development team members had concern over the lack of quality buildings available in our region. Lewis Real estate and it’s affiliate, Fletcher Partners, were asked to construct a new speculative building to address this need. We agreed to construct a building "at cost" with no development fees or commissions. The project would in turn help sell additional land, and give us design control over our own building and help with the overall feel of the park. Lewis handled engineering, grading, architectural design, and is helping with the marketing in conjunction with Buncombe County and the Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Office.
This unique partnership has resulted in a 40,000 sf shell building. The shell building sits on six acres with 22-foot ceiling heights and is expandable to 80,000 Square Feet.
AB-Tech is located within minutes of the Asheville Commerce Park, providing training and business incubation facilities.
